This policy was created on June 2015
As a leading service provider of training and self defense products, Artemis Defense Institute relies on this Return and Cancellation Policy to ensure customer satisfaction with every purchase. When a customer contacts us by phone or email, our initial response is to assist getting technical support or customer service for the customer from the vendor of the product that the customer purchased. However, in some cases a product may be unsatisfactory to the customer for reasons completely beyond our control, in which case a return or a cancellation may be processed.
Our return policy for all ADI products is as follows: ADI will, in its sole and absolute discretion, allow for the return or replacement of any product purchased using our services within 60 days from the date of purchase. For recurring billing products, returns for more than one payment may be provided if requested within the standard 60 day return period. Customers requesting a return after 60 days will be required to work directly with the vendor for technical support or customer service. Vendors may request a return, on behalf of a customer, of any purchase up to 90 days after the date of the ADI customer's purchase. If a customer requests a return and the return is approved by ADI, the money for the requested transaction is refunded back to the customer, in part or whole. If the return is for a recurring billing product, then the return policy allows for the most recent payment to be refunded. Multiple payment returns can be provided as long as they are within ADI's Return Policy. A return on a recurring billing product will also result in cancellation. Returns will only be credited back to the account used to make the original purchase. If the original account has been closed, the purchase is not eligible for return. When a product is returned, the customer generally receives a full refund. Payouts from that sale are debited back out of the corresponding vendor and affiliate accounts. Due to the digital format of ADI products, when a product is returned the customer retains the product and, in many cases, the customer has received a benefit from the product prior to the return. In such cases, ADI reserves the right to issue a refund for less than the full purchase price. Our vendors are not permitted to make any guarantee that conflicts with our return policy. If you find a product sold through ADI with any warranty that conflicts with our return policy, please bring it to our attention so that we may take corrective action.
ADI has every incentive to keep customers happy by providing quality products and service. To promote customer satisfaction, ADI reserves the right to reverse a sale, including but not limited to the following:
FOR RECURRING CHARGES: A customer may cancel a product with a recurring billing subscription at any time. A cancellation means that no future payments are charged to the customer's account. The cancellation of a recurring billing product does not generate a refund - it will only stop any future payments. A 30 day written notice is necessary for us to insure that we have enough lead time to insure a proper cancellation.
FOR SESSIONS SCHEDULED AT ARTEMIS:
PRIVATE SESSION / GROUP CLASSES: We ask for a 24 hour cancellation prior to the start of your session. Our staff is scheduled based on the demand and the flow of the day... thus last minute adjustments are quite difficult. We understand that at times, life doesn't fit our schedule, so cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be assessed on a case by case situations. The cost of the cancellation: the cost of the private session
PRIVATE GROUP SESSION OR SPECIAL EVENT: When you schedule a group training or event, the final count MUST be given to us THREE (3) days before the event. Once we have received the guarantee, the total count will be used to further the planning of the event. We attempt to accommodate the needs of the group should the numbers increase, however we can not guarantee the labor and food when numbers increase by more than five (5).
Refunds may be issued. However, there will be a 10% transaction fee for all credit card payments. Classes cancelled within 24 hours of their commencement will also incur a $50 per person cancellation charge. An Artemis Credit may be issued in lieu of this fee and may be applied to any service.
This Return and Cancellation Policy is part of, and incorporated within, the ADI Client Contract. As a condition of registering with ADI and using the ADI Services, you expressly acknowledge that you have read and understand this Return and Cancellation Policy and you agree to be bound by its terms and conditions. If at any time you disagree with this Return and Cancellation Policy or any part of it, your sole remedy is to cease all use of the ADI and terminate your account. Please note, however, that any transactions which occurred prior to the date of such termination shall be governed and controlled in full by the terms of this Return and Cancellation Policy.
